Birth Injury Review

HIE / Cooling Cases

NICU Standard of Care

Assessment of whether NICU management met accepted clinical standards. Review of admission criteria, monitoring practices, treatment protocols, and escalation decisions.

Neonatal Resuscitation

Case review of delivery room resuscitation: NRP protocol adherence, airway management, chest compressions, medication administration, and transition to NICU care.

Prematurity / ELBW Care

Expert analysis of extremely low birth weight and very preterm infant management: surfactant therapy, ventilation strategies, IVH prevention, NEC surveillance, and developmental care.

Ventilation

Review of respiratory management decisions: invasive and non-invasive ventilation modes, weaning protocols, extubation readiness, and complications including air leaks and BPD.
